A few Industry Digests ago, CarBlox reported on a teaser from ex-Roblox Automotive Industry titan Avanta hinting at a revival of the insta-recognizable brand. It was the logo getting redesigned, which you can see that story here.
Now, this has culminated in the reveal of the 1988 Avanta Zeta Avard, a sedan sporting an inline 6 engine producing 230 horsepower. The car is going to be a mesh car looking from the pictures and will provide improved fuel economy and performance. The car is said to have a redesigned chassis, a independent suspension system, and class-leading saftey (for 1988 anyway).
The car is expected to be a darling at Inspiration Auto Show, which starts August 14 and goes until the 21st. Mark your calendars, as CarBlox will be covering IAS, Avanta, and everything coming in the next weeks extensively.
