Carblox Editorial, established April 6th 2021, was a volunteer news publication that covered the creators, brands, companies and groups in the fictional ROBLOX automotive industry through a variety of article and news series, providing quality reviews and retrospectives on the cars they design and build. One of a kind, the young publication would become a cult-classic through it's professional-level coverage and connections to icons and influential community members, including major game developers, community legends, and professional visual designers.

Known for it's smash hit series of publications, Industry Digest, Carblox rocketed from a struggling startup to a force in independent journalism. By 2022, the team grew to include new writers and community voices. In 2023, the editorial made it's biggest move yet: becoming the name sponsor and host of a community trade show: Ro-Automotive Creator's Expo. Over 20 unique creators 3D-designed, programmed, and presented their creations and works to over 200 concurrent players on the opening weekend, no small feat for a volunteer digital magazine.

2023 also was home to one of two iconic digital events: the 2023 and 2024 Wheely Awards, which recognized the efforts of the community in design, programming innovation, creativity, and marketing. With over 300 attendees, the editorial cemented itself in the collective memory of the community as a staple. 

 

Carblox supported and uplifted many people within ro-automotive to expand beyond the fictional into pursuing careers in game development, advertising and marketing, automotive design and engineering, computer science, and more.

 

In 2025, founder, editor-in-chief, and primary writer Catalyst_0 stepped away to pursue his own professional goals, armed with the experience Carblox provided. At the end of Carblox's run, it had amassed over 15,000 impressions thanks to it's impressive use of SEO, released a digital magazine, hosted three major events, all the while uplifting a small community.
